Evaluation Summary

Good for
  • Anime
Bad for
  • Below-average scores across the board
  • Price-to-quality ratio
  • Doesn't match Kling/ByteDance/Google flagships
Summary

Gen-4.5 struggles more than other models in its class and generation, producing below-average scores across the board. As a flagship model, it unfortunately doesn't quite meet expectations. It does seem somewhat good for anime. But given the price, it doesn't match the quality of other flagship models from Kling, ByteDance, or Google.

Examples

Wide tracking shot of a small white research boat motoring across glassy fjord water as a colossal moss-covered crustacean kaiju rises from beneath the surface, its barnacle-encrusted claws sweeping arcs of seawater into the air. Sheets of mist drift through pine-covered cliffs, droplets cascading from its mandibles in slow-motion ropes. Overcast Nordic light, desaturated greens and slate, anamorphic lens with subtle horizontal flares, gritty 35mm grain, sense of immense scale, terrified human figures crouched on the deck.
Stylized 2D noir animation, locked wide of a softly lit drawing room as a tall figure in a dark shirt steps through a doorway pulsing with hot magenta backlight, briefcase swinging at his side, the city skyline distant beyond. Curtains breathe in the draft, pendant lamps wobble subtly, his silhouette long and theatrical across the rug. Limited frame animation, watercolor-washed shadows, restrained palette of dusty pinks, charcoal, and lamp-amber, Mignola-like line economy.
First-person handlebar POV cinematic shot, hands gripping rubber grips as a single-speed slices through a rain-glazed neon downtown at full speed, signage smearing into long horizontal streaks of magenta and lime. Tires hiss across wet pavement, brake-lever shadows flicker, breath visible in the cold. Heavy practical motion blur, anamorphic streak flares, lo-fi cinéma-vérité grit, the held high of an unsanctioned midnight ride.
Stylized comic-book animated shot, three-quarter medium framing on a gaunt blue-skinned undead gunslinger in a dust-caked duster, revolver in one hand and crumpled wanted poster in the other reading "WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE — UNDEAD COWBOY — REWARD $10,000" in clean weathered typography. Hot crimson dusk behind, barbed-wire silhouettes, the poster wrinkling as he tightens his grip but every word remaining razor legible. Heavy ink-line aesthetic, Mignola-meets-Mike Allred grit.
Stylized commercial cinematic shot, locked-off down a quiet European cobblestone street as enormous shiny hot-pink balloon letters spelling "DON'T SWEAT IT" wobble in a gentle breeze, the apostrophe bobbing slightly out of formation before drifting back into place. Sunlight glints off each balloon's curvature, soft squeaks audible as they sway. Sherbet color palette, hand-arranged confetti drifting past, every letter clean and properly kerned regardless of motion, optimistic streetwear-campaign energy.
High-end skincare commercial macro, slow push-in on a cream-colored cosmetic tube laid diagonally on a glass surface flooded with fresh white foam and pooling water, its black label reading "Lumae Calming Cleanser" standing crisp and unblurred as suds churn around it. Bubbles rise, water beads slide along the tube, gentle daylight rakes across the glossy plastic. Each character of the typeface remains intact and proportionate throughout, glassy clinical-meets-natural styling.
Conceptual still-life commercial shot, locked medium frame on a translucent plastic shopping bag bulging with white daisies and baby's breath, set on a flat warm-taupe seamless. Across the wrinkled surface of the bag, the words "Megaton Reviews" are printed in confident red block letters that distort gently as the bag breathes in a light draft. Crisp studio key light, every letter holding shape and curvature through plastic creases, the playful collision of high fashion and corner-store packaging.
Cozy macro tabletop scene, top-down framing on an open hardback storybook resting on a thick knit blanket, the left page bearing illuminated calligraphy reading "Once upon a time, in a kingdom far far away…" as a hand gently turns the page to reveal a watercolor castle on a green hill. Warm bedside lamp glow, dust motes drifting, fingertips brushing the parchment, every letter perfectly legible and consistent through the motion, the storyteller-intimate scale of a hand-painted childhood.
Classic cinematic homage, soaring wide shot of a colossal gorilla clinging to the silver tip of a deco skyscraper, one massive fist raised at three biplanes banking around it in tight figure-eights. Below, a sprawling 1930s metropolis bakes in afternoon haze, propeller drone audible. Hybrid black-and-white-meets-color grade, fine 35mm grain, the iconic theatrical scale of an old-school spectacle staged with modern fidelity. ---
