This leaderboard ranks models by what a second of generated video actually costs, using the providers' published API pricing normalized to a common per-second rate. Cost per second varies by more than an order of magnitude across the field, and the cheapest tier is where high-volume workflows live: dataset generation, social content at scale, and rapid ideation passes before a hero render on a premium model. Benchmark scores are shown alongside price so you can see exactly how much quality each dollar saved gives up.
