One price per second
For each model on each platform, we show one best price per second. We calculate it the same way on every platform, so you can compare platforms directly.
A price can be slightly higher than what a careful buyer could get. We accept that in exchange for prices that are simple and consistent.
Per-clip prices
Some platforms charge per clip instead of per second. We divide the clip price by the longest clip the platform allows.
For example, HeyGen charges $2.90 for a clip of up to 15 seconds, so we count it as $0.1933 per second.
Subscription plans
When a model needs a subscription, we use the cheapest plan that can generate it. We show that plan's price as the required spend.
Unlimited plans
We do not turn unlimited plans into a price per second, because the cost of each second depends on how much you generate.
Settings we compare
We compare only the settings that change the price: resolution, model version and audio. We ignore duration and aspect ratio.
How often we check prices
Prices are refreshed daily.
