The technical architecture centers on Luma's new Uni-1 model, which the company describes as capable of reasoning across text, image, video, and audio simultaneously. "Traditional video models are essentially texture generators. Customers retain full IP ownership of outputs, and the system automatically flags potential trademark conflicts before rendering. These safeguards suggest Luma is targeting enterprise clients who need defensible production assets, not viral content creators.

Junior production roles may shift from execution to prompt engineering and output curation. Copyright liability shifts to enterprises using the system, not Luma itself.
